100th Anniversary – Our Leaders
On this Worship Wednesday, we take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey of faith and leadership that our pastors have embarked on over the past 100 years. From our first pastor, Rev. R. W. Warren in 1924, to the present day, Dr. Charles M. Morgan. each pastor has gallantly led us, bringing the word of God to our congregation with unwavering dedication and love.
Our Centennial theme, “Saved by Grace; Walking in Faith,” is a testament to the grace and faithfulness of our pastors, who have guided us through trials and triumphs, always pointing us towards the solid rock of our faith. As the song sang by our own Sis. Donna Terry reminds us, “be sure, be very sure, your anchor holds and grips the solid rock.”
Today, we honor and salute all of our pastors, past and present, for their commitment, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Their leadership has shaped us into the church family we are today, and we are grateful for their guidance as we continue to walk in faith towards the future.
